A new welding plant in Buffalo Narrows is preparing for a busy summer.

North West Fabricators Ltd. recently opened its doors for business and is already preparing for major projects in July.

The company’s C.E.O., Doug Eddy, says the business will provide welding services for people in the northwest area, while preparing for the day when the link to Fort McMurray finally becomes reality.

Eddy says North West Fabricators has already done a lot of work with loggers in the region.

The business is also intended as a training ground for local residents.
