Marchers took to the streets of Prince Albert today.
Family members and friends of Aboriginal people who have gone missing or murdered walked from city hall to the Prince Albert Grand Council.
Many wore T-shirts or held signs displaying the name of the person they were honouring.
Vera Roy was one of the people to take part in the event.
She says her niece, Michelle Sanderson Quewezance, was brutally beaten and killed in Edmonton in October of last year.
She says police haven’t made any arrests in the case and the family is still waiting.
