After suffering a setback earlier in the day on the Pasqua First Nation, the RCMP eventually got their man in Regina.

Members of the RCMP emergency response team converged on a home on the Pasqua reserve this morning, hoping to arrest 27-year-old Adrian Ashley Cyr.

Investigators executed a search warrant on the residence and spoke to the sole occupant of the residence — but it wasn’t Cyr.

However, Cyr was arrested without incident this afternoon in a Regina residence.

He is facing a charge of attempted murder, as well as several weapons offences, in relation to an incident in the city on August 7th.

Police say someone in a vehicle pulled up to a residence and fired a shot at the home, shattering a patio door.

No one was hurt.

Cyr makes his first court appearance on Wednesday.
