Band Launches Website In Latest Bid For Land Base

A Saskatchewan First Nation fighting for recognition and a land base now has its own website.

The site contains detailed information about the John Cochrane band’s fight to get land back it says was stolen from it several decades ago.

It includes maps, historical documents and detailed timelines.

Chief John Dorion says he hopes the new site draws some attention to his band’s plight.
