Nine-year-old Faith Bosse wants to compete in this year’s National Baton Twirling Championships in Toronto.
As a result, her family is organizing a steak night fundraiser to send her and her dad.
Faith is the daughter of the late Dahleen Muskego Bosse, who went missing in May 2004.
Bosse’s remains were found in August 2008, the same month police charged Douglas Hales with her murder.
Hales has been committed to stand trial, but no date has been set.
Faith’s maternal grandmother, Pauline Muskego, says it’s as if Faith is carrying on her mother’s spirit.
The fundraiser will take place at Mulberry’s in Saskatoon on May 19th.
