Bullies Tie 8-year-old La Ronge Girl To Stop Sign

RCMP in La Ronge are currently looking into a bullying incident in the community.

The eight-year-old daughter of Viviana Ruiz Arcand was headed to her father’s office after school when she ended up being tied to a stop sign after trying to stop five teenagers from picking on another kid.

Ruiz Arcand says the group used flagging tape, so the young girl was able to get free and make it to her father’s workplace.

The girl’s mother says she immediately contacted the local Mounties, and is now looking into setting up a block parent program.

She adds that she is still in shock about the whole situation.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police.
