Cumberland MLA Will Represent NDP Again

Member of the Legislative Assembly Doyle Vermette was acclaimed by the New Democrats last night and will represent the party in the 2011 election.

Vermette first won his seat in a by-election in 2008 and his since represented the Cumberland riding in the Provincial Legislature.

Vermette says he accepts the nomination with honour.

Vermette says the north has strong leadership and they work hard to support each other when representing the interests of northerners.
