Fox Re-Elected As Chief In Onion Lake

A new council has been elected at the Onion Lake Cree Nation, but the chief remains the same.

Wallace Fox beat two other challengers, Henry Lewis and Pauline White, during the band’s election yesterday.

The seven-member council features three new faces — Fred Dillon, Delores Gamble, and Tommy Chief.

Incumbents Joe Dillon, Roy Littlewolf, Walter Pahtayken, and Leon Whitstone were all re-elected.
