House Fire In La Ronge Called “Suspicious”

The RCMP and the La Ronge Fire Department are investigating a “suspicious” house fire.
It was around 5:00 yesterday morning that an off-duty Mountie saw flames coming from the back of the home.
The officer helped evacuate the family from the burning structure — although at this point, it appears a pet may have been lost.
The fire department then arrived on the scene to assist the residents and put out the fire.
The house, located on the corner of Beck Street and Lawton Crescent, received extensive damage.
