Ice Wolves Captain Gets Shot at Pros

Ice wolves captain Dustin Stevenson is getting a shot at the pros.

 

The Washington capitals have signed him to a three year entry level contract which will start next season.

 

The Gull lake native was also recently named the SJHL Player of the Year after he scored 47 points and racked up 134 penalty minutes in 56 games this season.

 

He finished third among league defensemen in scoring and tied for eighth in the league in penalty minutes.

 

He leads all SJHL defensemen with seven goals and 10 assists in 17 playoff games.
