A Saskatoon lawyer has been reinstated after an apparent mix-up with the Law Society of Saskatchewan.

Michelle Leclair-Harding was temporarily suspended by the group for failing to answer their communiques to her regarding a complaint from Alberta.

However, the Law Society’s Tim Huber says they have since learned that Leclair-Harding tried to send an e-mail and a fax to them during the time provided to her.

He says part of the e-mail was unopenable and the fax that came was blank.

Huber says the law society feels that since efforts at response have been made, she can practice law again.

He won’t reveal what the original complaint is about, only that it is still outstanding.
