Man Disappears After Making Distress Call To RCMP

Mounties in La Ronge are looking for a man after a call for help last night.

George James was last heard from on Far Reserve Road at about 2:30 this morning.

Cst. Greg Holmberg with the La Ronge RCMP says that James made a call to police on a cell phone indicating he was in distress and needing assistance — but they haven’t been able to track him down since the call was made.

Anyone with information about James’ whereabouts is asked to call the La Ronge RCMP.
