Molotov Cocktails Thrown At La Ronge School

RCMP are on the lookout for someone who may have thrown two Molotov cocktails at a La Ronge elementary school.

Early Wednesday morning, police were called to Pre-Cam Community School where they found burn marks and broken glass at both the front and back entrances of the school.

The Mounties say it appears the incident took place at night when the school was empty, and no injuries have been reported.

RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Carole Raymond says that while they are worried about damage to the building, the safety of those who made the devices is also a concern — especially if young people were involved.
