Moose Jaw has a new program to help youth become part of the workforce.

The Youth Transitions Project is a 45 day program aimed at youth ages 15 to 30.

Jan Morgan is the Executive Director of Career and Employment Services and says youth are under-represented in the Five Hills area.

The $70,000 program, which is funded by the province’s Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Immigration, will help youth build self-esteem and social skills and provide classes in WHMIS and First Aid.
