Muskeg Lake Ramping Up Business Activity

The Muskeg Lake Cree Nation has a couple of economic ventures on the go.

The band has purchased a gas station on Saskatoon’s west side to complement the station it runs on its urban reserve in Sutherland.

Chief Cliff Tawpisin says they are also partnering with Muskoday and Whitecap Dakota First Nations on Whitecap’s destination hotel.

The announcement of that hotel is expected soon.

The destination hotel is meant to complement Whitecap’s golf course and casino.
