P.A. Residents Urged To Beware Of Sex Offender

A warning is going out to residents of Prince Albert regarding the release of a known sex offender.

 

Norbert Dumais, who was released from prison last year, has a lengthy history of committing sexual offenses against young females with whom he comes into contact.

 

Dumais has also been known to use violence and knives against people with whom he has a grievance.

 

He has been ordered not to have unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 16, and to stay away from public areas like swimming pools and day cares.

 

Dumais is 54 years old, 5’6 and 220 lbs.

 

He is Aboriginal, with brown eyes and long hair.

 

Dumais is known to frequent Prince Albert as well as North Battleford.

 

The province’s ministry of Corrections and Public Safety says it wants the information to be known so the public can take suitable prevention measures.

 

Last year, a Facebook site was set up by residents of North Battleford, asking Dumais to leave the community.
