Poundmaker Arrested In Connection To ATM Theft

A third person suspected of trying to steal an ATM in Leoville has been arrested.

 

19-year-old North Battleford resident Gabriel Poundmaker was arrested by Yorkton RCMP on Saturday night.

 

He is expected to appear in Provncial Court in North Battleford on Wednesday.

 

Poundmaker is alleged to have been involved in an attempt to steal an ATM in Leoville on August 10th.

 

He faces charges of Break, Enter and Theft Over $5,000 and Theft Under $5,000.

 

Meanwhile, two other North Battleford residents charged in connection with the same incident — 44-year-old Garvin Martin and a 15-year-old boy — appeared in court today.

 

Martin’s bail hearing has been set for August 24th.

 

The teen’s bail hearing is set for this Friday.

 

Police suspect all three may be involved in other ATM thefts and other robberies across west-central Saskatchewan.
