Searchers Find Body Of Missing Montreal Lake Man

The search for a missing Montreal Lake man has ended in tragedy.

The body of Chuck Benjamin LaValee Smith was found yesterday morning in what’s known as the Old McLeans area.

The 23-year-old man was last seen alive last Tuesday in the west subdivision of the reserve.

Band officials were worried he may have become disoriented as he required daily medication.

His body was recovered by Montreal Lake’s search and rescue team.

RCMP say foul play is not suspected.
