Students Lauded In Legislature For Treaty Video

Ten Saskatchewan high school students from the Horizon School Division were recognized in the Legislature yesterday for their efforts in treaty education.
Education Minister Ken Krawetz says the short video — written and produced by the students — teaches that “we are all treaty people.”
Mark Desjarlais is from Fishing Lake and attends school in Wadena, while Maria Weiland is a Grade 12 student in Humboldt.
They say the video will help both students and teachers learn about treaty education and their own heritage.
