A provincial court judge has ruled that a man accused of killing a Saskatchewan woman whose remains weren’t found for several years will stand trial for first-degree murder.
Douglas Hales, who is charged in the death of Daleen Kay Bosse, also faces one count of offering an indignity to a body.
The decision to hold the 31-year-old man over for trial follows a three-day preliminary hearing this week.
Bosse, who was a university student and member of the Lloydminster-area Onion Lake First Nation, was last seen at a Saskatoon nightclub in May 2004.
The remains of the 25-year-old mother were found four years later in a treed area just north of the city.
A trial date for Hales has not been set.
