Two Charged With Murder In Regina

Two men have been arrested in connection with Regina’s first homicide of the year.
The victim, Regina resident Raymond Bernard Gardypie, 26, was found Sunday morning in a house on Retallack St.
Joshua Brendan Bird, 20, also of Regina, is charged with second degree murder, breach of probation, breach of recognizance and breach of undertaking.
A 17-year-old male, who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with second degree murder and breach of probation.
Both suspects are making their first court appearances today in Regina.
Police say the two were arrested without incident yesterday afternoon in the area of Angus St.
