Woman Recovering from Violent Assault

A 41-year-old woman in Prince Albert is recovering from a violent assault.

Police say the woman was stabbed shortly before two a.m. Monday morning and rushed to hospital with life-threatening wounds.

Fortunately her condition is listed as serious but stable.

Police say they arrested the woman’s 46-year-old male partner.

He was apparently suffering from self-inflicted wounds.

The man faces a charge of attempted murder.
