Thirty-four students in northern Saskatchewan recently received their diplomas from Credenda Virtual College.
The graduates were taking classes in child care and educational assistance.
Vince Hill is the director of the Internet-based school.
He says all of the students were female, which is an encouraging sign — as is the fact that many are in their 30s, 40s or 50s.
Hill says because the school is Internet-based, the students stay in their northern locations while taking classes.
