Fatal Hit And Run Suspect From Pelican Lake

A teenager from the Pelican Lake First Nation will be in court tomorrow to answer to accusations she was involved in a fatal hit and run accident in Prince Albert.

The name of the 19-year-old woman hasn’t been released yet.

However, the police have implicated her in the fatal accident which claimed the life of 21-year-old Daniel Carter.

Carter was in the parking lot of a restaurant in the city when he was hit on September 19th.

He later died in hospital.

The suspect faces charges including failing to remain at the scene of an accident and criminal negligence causing death.
