The University of Saskatchewan is joining forces with more Aboriginal business partners.
The Edwards School of Business and the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association have signed an agreement with the university pledging to work together.
The goal is to establish an academic program to support Aboriginal peoples.
The agreement in principle also gives students with an Aboriginal financial management diploma the option of the entering the Bachelor of Commerce program at the university with advanced standing.
That means it will take them less time to get their degree.
