A former top official with the Athabasca Basin Development Corporation has been fined by the Canada Revenue Agency.
The agency has announced that Glen Strong recently pleaded guilty in a Prince Albert courtroom to charges of failing to file income tax returns for 2002 to 2007, as well as GST returns.
The company named in the case, Jagg Enterprises, provided road construction services and operated out of Stony Rapids before relocating to Prince Albert.
Both Strong and his business were fined $20,000 and ordered to file the outstanding returns within 60 days.
