Man Wanted in Home Invasion Turns Himself In

A man wanted in connection with a home invasion on the Standing Buffalo First Nation has turned himself in.

According to Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP, 25-year-old Darren Tawiyaka was arrested without incident earlier today.

He is charged with break and enter, assault, uttering threats and breach, and appeared in court this morning.

Tawiyaka and co-accused Lonnie Goodwill are facing charges after a man was allegedly assaulted in his home last week with a hammer.
