A Yorkton man is facing several charges after nearly crashing into several vehicles yesterday in Kamsack.

RCMP say they received reports of a vehicle driving on the wrong side of Highway 8, forcing on-coming traffic off the road.

The vehicle was eventually pulled over in Kamsack.

Officers then discovered the car had been stolen in Yorkton and was involved in a hit-and-run.

Police say 41-year-old Alexander William Quewezance was arrested and charged with impaired driving.

Other charges include dangerous driving, possession of stolen property, flight from police, failure to stop at the scene of an accident, and driving while disqualified.
