RCMP say it is not known if all the occupants of a residence that burned in Stanley Mission last night made it out safely.

The fire took place at around 11:50 p.m. on McKenzie Street.

The Stanley Mission fire crew responded and several occupants of the residence were safely evacuated before the fire began burning out of control.

The RCMP say a thorough examination of the residence will take place today with the help of a fire examiner from the Prince Albert Grand Council.
