A ten year sentence has been given to an inmate who took part in the killing of a gang leader.
Ryan Agecoutay is the 5th inmate to plead guilty in the swarming death of Daniel Wolfe.
A former leader of the Indian Posse, Wolfe, was attacked in January inside the Saskatchewan Penitentiary’s old maximum security unit.
A preliminary hearing had initially been scheduled, but Agecoutay ended up pleading guilty to manslaughter instead.
His sentence is to be served concurrently.
