Strike Unlikely To Affect Meadow Lake Campus

The President of Northwest Regional College says a potential strike by teachers at SIAST shouldn’t affect the school’s Meadow Lake campus.
Bryan Nylander says instructors at the Meadow Lake campus are employed directly by the school itself.
He says if any labour action is taken, students probably won’t notice anything.
However, he cautions that could always change however, if a potential strike were to drag out.
He adds the situation is a little murkier in North Battleford where two programs are taught by SIAST employees.
However, he says the balance of the programs there are handled by college instructors.
