Tribal Council Opens New Elders Lodge

A new elders lodge on the east side of Saskatoon has been opened by the Saskatoon Tribal Council.

The facility is located in a former elementary school, which is also to home to a number of other urban services that have previously been scattered around the city.

STC Tribal Chief Felix Thomas says First Nations and Metis elders from outside Saskatoon are always welcome to use the lodge, including the ones that visit the city from the province’s north for medical reasons.

The elders lodge is located at 2010 7th Street East.
