The Saskatchewan Watershed Authority has issued an advisory about high water levels at the Rapid River Dam on Lac La Ronge.
Officials say the gates at the dam are now wide open, and there is a high outflow into the river.
Authority spokesperson Ron Crush says the situation with the water level appears to be improving.
Crush says the advisory is for people in the area of the Rapid River Dam located south of Stanley Mission.
He says the Watershed Authority is monitoring the situation and information is available at the website, saskflood.ca.
