Annual Trappers Meeting Delayed

The annual meeting of the Northern Saskatchewan Trappers Association Cooperative has been delayed.
The gathering was planned for the middle of this month but funding for the event has ended.
Association president Clifford Ray hopes the meeting can be held later this year, possibly in May.
He says they hope to get a proposal to the government and find out if the funding will be reinstated or if they have to extend the trappers convention until the long weekend in August.
Ray says the association board will be meeting in Prince Albert in April to discuss ways of getting funding to support an annual convention.
