BATC Helps with Multiplex Cost

The Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs presented a cheque for almost $462,000 to North Battleford city council last night.

That check represents money the BATC CDC has allocated to the city’s multipurpose recreational facility, which is now being built.

BATC Community Development Corporation Executive Director Neil Sasakamoose says BATC chiefs see the multiplex as a great place for their youth.

Sasakamoose says the BATC CDC wants to help cover operating costs for the complex.
