Charge Laid In Discovery of Body Near La Ronge

A 23-year-old La Ronge man is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow facing a charge of manslaughter.

RCMP say Corey Alexander Clarke was arrested in connection with the death of a 40-year-old La Ronge man on the weekend.

The man was found lying on a roadway on the Bell’s Point Reserve early Sunday morning.

The victim was taken to the La Ronge Health Centre, where he died of his injuries.

An autopsy performed in Saskatoon on Monday determined his death was not by natural causes.

The victim’s name will not be released at the request of the family.
