Daleen Bosse Memorial Run Begins

The first day of the Daleen Bosse Muskego Memorial Run kicked off today.

It is in honour of two women who provided much support to the Muskego family.

Pauline Muskego says the late Patricia and Kate Monture were there for her family when Daleen first went missing.

She says Patricia Monture was the first to alert her about the Native Women’s Association and how they could help.

Muskego says the Montures lived across the street from Daleen and her husband and daughter, Faith, when Daleen went missing in 2004.

She says Faith looked up to Kate and would follow her around.

The run today begins at the site where Daleen’s remains were found in August 2008.

The run will end on Friday in Onion Lake.
