There’s more pressure on the Harper government to disclose how it selected 5 financial institutions for a loan-program on reserve.
The Tribal Wi-Chi-Way-Win Capital Corporation says a federal court has given the government until April 15th to produce documents detailing the process.
For several months now, the tribal group has complained it and several other Aboriginal lending institutions were unfairly shut out of the program.
The loan-loss initiative gives security to lending institutions so they can provide loans to businesses and entrepreneurs on First Nations.
