Fire Blazes South of PA

Crews continue to battle a fire south of Prince Albert.

As of this morning, the blaze, located near McDowall, still wasn’t under control.

Brent Krayetski of the provincial fire centre says the fire erupted early yesterday afternoon and was about one hundred and ten hectares in size.

He says crews also continue to fight two fires in the Meadow Lake area.

One is located near the community’s sawmill and the other is in the provincial park.

He says there are ten fires burning in the province right now.
