The First Nations University of Canada has made a financial U-turn.

Board chairperson Della Annaquod reports the school has fought its way out of debt.

She notes the new board did it during their first 100 days in power.

Meantime, a call also went out this morning at the FSIN’s legislative assembly to construct a new campus building in Prince Albert.

Students in the city are currently spaced out at multiple sites throughout the city.

Chiefs want to see one central location instead.
