Foul Play Not Suspected in Pelican Lake Death

Foul play is not believed to be a factor in the death of a 40-year-old man at the Pelican Lake First Nation.

Spiritwood RCMP were called to the land fill on the reserve around 5:30 Friday afternoon.

Police had received calls about an unresponsive male, and when officers arrived they found the man who was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing to determine the cause of death.

The identity of the man is not being released.
