House Fire on Timber Bay, Occupants Missing

Two people remain unaccounted for after a house fire early this morning at Timber Bay.

Montreal Lake RCMP say the blaze was reported around 2:15 a.m.

Volunteer firefighters responded but the home was fully engulfed in flames by the time they arrived.

The fire crew worked to keep the fire from spreading to nearby trees and bushes.

RCMP Corporal Rob King says a special investigator has been called to the scene.

King says so far there’s no word on what may have caused the blaze.
