Housing Advocate Says Include First Nations

People who research homelessness in the province are reacting to Saskatchewan’s recent announcement of a comprehensive housing strategy.

Hirsch Greenberg works for the University of Regina and is a project leader for collecting data on homelessness in Regina.

Greenberg says any consultation that include Saskatchewan residents should also include members of First Nation reserves.

Over the next few months, the province is expected to consult with a variety of stakeholders from realtors to community-based organizations.
