La Loche Health Educator Honoured

An long-time employee of the La Loche Health Centre was recently honoured for her work as a community health educator.

Dorilda Piche has been with the La Loche Health Centre since 1981.

Piche works in a variety of roles- from immunization clinics, to nutrition, to outreach and orientation of new staff working in the North.

She says her job has it’s challenges but her favourite part is working with children.

Piche was recently honoured at the Saskatchewan Health Excellence Awards in the Health of the Population category.
