It’s back to business on day two of the FSIN Winter Legislative Assembly.

Much of the opening day was spent in closed-door discussions about FSIN Chief Guy Lonechild’s leadership.

The chiefs emerged divided with some calling for his resignation, some supporting Lonechild and some wishing to focus on the business of the assembly.

Following the in-camera session, Lonechild presented his gaming portfolio, suggesting he is not going to give in to calls for him to step down.

Wednesday is a packed day with education, citizenship, resource revenue sharing and the child welfare review all on the agenda.
