Man Who Was Assaulted Also Facing Charges

A man from One Arrow First Nation who was assaulted earlier this summer is now facing charges.

Wakaw RCMP say 18-year-old Wesley Muskego is facing two counts of mischief and theft under $5,000.

On June 26th Police received a call about a man who had been assaulted on a farm near the reserve.

Muskego was taken to hospital for treatment of various injuries.

Police later arrested 30-year-old Jason Uhryn from Wakaw and charged him with aggravated assault, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
