The Metis Nation of Saskatchewan is preparing to embark on a consultation tour of the province.
Twelve meetings in all will take place with the first one set for July 7th in Buffalo Narrows.
The agenda will include reports by the MNS executive and include a chance for citizens to express comments and concerns within their respective regions.
Louis Gardiner is one of the officials in charge of the sessions.
He says some of the other topics up for discussion include the metis registry, metis cards, and the search for a new appeals process to handle disputes.
He adds next year’s election is set for May.
He expects the round of consultations will wrap up at the end of July in Saskatoon.
