Montreal Lake Baby Born in Ambulance

Monday afternoon was a day to remember for two paramedics from Parkland Ambulance.
The members were transporting a pregnant woman from the Montreal Lake reserve to Prince Albert when she suddenly went into labour.
The paramedics pulled off to the side of the road and helped the woman deliver a healthy baby boy.
Parkland ambulance spokesman Lyle Karasiuk says it’s not something they ever get used to.
Karasiuk says the crew headed back to the Montreal Lake clinic before making their way to Victoria Hospital.
Both mother and baby were discharged yesterday.
