More charges have been laid in a bizarre case of assault and unlawful confinement on the Pelican Lake First Nation.

RCMP say two boys, aged 14 and 16, have come forward in the matter.

It was last month that Mounties charged 47-year-old Francis Hernandez and 27-year-old Larry Thomas with a variety of offences including sexual assault with a weapon, assault, unlawful confinement and overcoming resistance.

Authorities allege there are three victims in the case and that the crimes in question happened at a car wash at the Pelican Lake mall.

A woman has also been charged in the case. Thirty-nine-year-old Manon Boisvert faces one count of unlawful confinement.

All of the cases are before the courts.
