Mounties Probe Suspicious Death On Ahtahkakoop

RCMP and the coroner’s officer are investigating a suspicious death on the Ahtahakakoop First Nation.

Police received the call at about 6:30 a.m. on Sunday.

An officer found a 25-year-old man on the ice on a lake, but he couldn’t be revived.

RCMP Sargeant Paul Dawson says no charges have been laid yet.

Mounties and the Provincial Coroner are investigating the incident.
